嘉有为博士，入选斯坦福全球前2%顶尖科学家榜单、广东省青年拔尖人才，深圳市海外高层次人才、入选青年人才托举工程项目（中国电机工程学会）。研究方向主要集中于智能微电网能量管理、新能源并入的复杂大电网运行安全评估、电动汽车与电网融合互动机制、引导调控及市场决策，以及人工智能在电力系统中的应用。主持10余项国家级、省市级科研项目。曾参与香港主题性研究计划项目(Theme-based Research Scheme)，并构建香港首个智能微电网运行平台，在计及高度不确定性的微电网能量管理及智能化控制方向取得突破性研究成果。近年来，嘉有为博士在国际高水平期刊（如IEEE Trans on Power Systems; Smart Grid; Industrial Informatics等）和国际主流会议（如IEEE PES GM, ISGT等）发表论文150余篇。担任IEEE Trans. on Power Systems; Smart Grid等20余个国际高水平期刊审稿人。担任IEEE 电力能源学会（Power & Energy Society Satellite Technical Council）中国区理事，电网运行与控制委员会(Power Grid Operation & Control Committee)常务理事，电动汽车委员会(Electric Vehicle committee) 理事。
