Pengfei Li, Ph.D., Associate Professor (Researcher), Shenzhen overseas high-level Talent "Peacock Plan Awardee-Category B”, Shenzhen Rreserve Talent. Deputy head of the chemistry department, Southern University of Science and Technology. Dr. Li received his Ph. D. degree in organic chemistry from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Science in 2009 and supervised by researcher Xinmiao Liang. Then he moved to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (2009–2011) and Hong Kong Baptist University (2011) as postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Albert S. C. Chan’s research group. In 2012, he joined South University of Science and Technology of China (SUSTC) and became the leader of Organo-Biomimetic Catalysis Group. Currently he is an Associate professor in the Department of chemistry of SUSTC. Li’s research interests focus on organocatalytic enantioselective transformations and chemical probes. He has published more than 90 peer-reviewed papers as a corresponding author in world-renown chemistry journals such as JACS、ACIE、PNAS and so on. He received several competitive grants from external sources (including General Program and Youth program from NSFC).
